"Vtthai Social Enterprise" is one of the Thai handcraft’s distribution channels, supporting Thai handcraft along with community development. ‘VT THAI’ worked with ‘Local Alike’ to develop local products and promote ‘community-based tourism’. ‘Nong Sarn community is the prominent indigo communities well known for a variety of techniques such as woven Mudmee, Mheekit, Lai Ta Koh, Lai keed as well as tie-dyeing techniques. VT THAI works with the locals to develop the product design to match with today’s lifestyle as well as provide the fascinating product storytelling which be able to increase perceived product value and generate more income to the community. These are the pride of ‘Nong Sarn’ community that be able to develop local products as well as promote ‘community-based tourism’.
